The Paperwork for the Western Zone Championship is now online. This tournament will be held in Pittsburgh, PA on February 28. All paperwork must be submitted by January 31st to Master Homschek.
Please see Mr. Marker or Dr. Holbrook with questions.
Paperwork for the Central Ohio Clinic can be downloaded from this link. Please fill out paperwork and bring payment to Dr. Holbrook.
The Central Ohio Clinic is a WTSDA event, hosted by Buckeye Tang Soo Do, and is an outstanding opportunity for students in Columbus to work with Masters and Instructors from our Region without having to take a long road trip. In addition, this year will feature two special guests from the Pittsburgh area: Ms. Julia Harvey and Ms. Linda Russo. All students are strongly encouraged to attend!

Please bear with me while we get the photo albums to work properly with the new website. In the meantime, you can see the photos from testing on the CTSDA Website.
Excellent job to all who tested!!!
Just a reminder that testing will be on Saturday, starting promptly at 9:00 AM. Testing will be held in Room A200, and we will be joined by students from Columbus Martial Artworks and Columbus Tang Soo Do Academy.
This is a reminder to everyone that class will be canceled tomorrow in lieu of mandatory RecSports training for all BTSD students. Classes will resume on Thursday.
Tang Soo!

Buckeye Tang Soo Do is using Twitter to quickly update students in case of last-minute cancellations, breaking news and reminders for upcoming deadlines.
Twitter updates are shown on the right under the class schedule (and on twitter.) but you can also receive SMS updates on your cell phone. The easiest step is to sign up for a free twitter account, register your phone and subscribe to BTSD's updates.
While we spend a great deal of time in the dojang focusing on our training, more serious students should dedicate time outside of class to the mental understanding of the martial arts as well. To facilitate this effort, Buckeye Tang Soo Do is proud to invite members to use the Club Library. The library has a variety of books and other media and can be requested in class from Mr. Marker. Please see the library page for contents and conditions for borrowing items.

Congratulations to Alexis Bohland, BTSD Class President, for being chosen as the recipient of the 2008 Region Five Scholarship! Alexis received this award in a large part due to her service to BTSD as Treasurer and President, as well as her academic achievement and community service. If you are interested in applying, please watch the Scholarship page for updates.

As you can see BTSD is very busy with welcome week, making the rounds to meet as many new students as possible. Just wanted to remind everyone that new students are welcome at any time during the quarter. If you have any questions for us, please feel free to contact us. Tonight (Tuesday) is the Martial Arts Expo at the RPAC, where you can check out all of the martial arts clubs on campus from 6-9pm. Hope to see you there!

On Thursday, September 25, BTSD will be hosting an open house for anyone interested in learning more about the martial arts. We will be holding this open house during our normal practice from 7-9pm in RPAC B138 West.
No experience is necessary, and all are welcome to participate.
